God is good. The closer we get to our support raising class, the more excited we are to start the journey. I have been able to speak to a few people about our vision already. I am not asking for support from anyone yet but I can see God going before us to put our team together.
We were talking at our small group last Wednesday about praying for healing. One of the things that was mentioned was the importance of believing that even when God doesn't heal someone immediately it doesn't mean that He doesn't hear our prayers. Jesus forgave sins before He healed people. That helps us understand how much more important it is for our heart to be healed and our sins forgiven than for our body to be healed. This was an important conversation.
We are learning more and more every day. God has a ministry for us. He will work through us as long as we are giving Him the glory and rejoice in what He is doing. When it starts to become our ministry is when things will begin to fail.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
We are praying for our friend Holly who had to fly home after her Dad suffered a heart attack. She was the one who spoke the most at our small group about praying for healing.
We are also praying for our trip to Washington in February for the support raising class.
We are praying for a place to live when we get to Idaho. God is good and we are excited to see His provision in this area.
We are thankful that Jason has so much time to devote to support raising while we are still in the Coast Guard.
We are thankful for great weather here in Texas while we are living in the trailer. It was 79degrees here on Tuesday the 27th of Jan.
